James and Rio have a background in property spanning over ten years and have built up a wealth of knowledge and experience which the clients of Maddox benefit from.
Over the course of building their own portfolios of primarily terraced houses in cities in England and Wales (£7 Million in size), James and Rio built up a vast array of contacts and experienced the various sectors of the assured short hold tenancy rental market (private rental, HMO, Local Authority and Housing Association) and all the pro’s and con’s of each.
James and Rio chose to focus on Niche Housing Associations they had come across and partnering with them as they realised the returns from rental income were greater and more secure and at the same time the risks posed in other areas of the market (private rental for example) were mitigated through the contracts they were able to negotiate with these organistations.
James and Rio today focus on creating portfolio’s for others now using the blue print they created bases on their own portfolio and the contacts they have built up over the years.
This enables Maddox to handle the end to end of the process and includes providing clients with access to the same legal and financial professional’s James and Rio used on their own portfolio’s, as well as the trade contractors to carry out refurbishment works on properties sourced.
